I have a PhD in Evolutionary Biology, which I did at the University of Edinburgh with Professor Stuart West. I did a post doc in Evolutionary Biology with Professor Rick Shine at the University of Sydney. You can learn more about my old life in Evolutionary Biology from my old Sydney University website. My work on human behaviour started with a sojourn into the biotech industry from 2006 - 2009, where I developed algorithms for interpreting Electroencephalogram (EEG) data for a brain computer interface at a Sydney based start up company (Emotiv Systems). I moved back to academia at UNSW in 2009, where I worked at the National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre developing a line of research on the measurement and treatment of cannabis withdrawal. I have moved to the School of Psychology at the University of Sydney in January 2014 as a Research Fellow. I am interested in generating high quality drug abuse evidence to inform drug policy and policy reform where it is needed. If you think we have common ground, and you would like to collaborate on some work.
